UNIVERSAL CREDIT CLAIMANTS - IMPORTANT UPDATE NEEDED
If you’re in receipt of Universal Credit it is really important that you update your housing costs on or very close after the 11th March 2024 to ensure your correct housing costs are paid and rent arrears don’t accumulate.
You can report this change via your UC journal, ‘Report a Change – Where I live and what it costs’ or by phoning UC (telephone claimants only) on 0800 328 5644.
If you need any help to report this, our Welfare Rights Officers will be available Monday 11th March and Tuesday 12th March for walk ins (at Glen Oaks HA office) and telephone calls.
These appointments will be to support with reporting changes to Universal Credit Housing Costs only, for any other issues a pre-booked appointment is necessary.
