The BoardBoard 2015

The Association's shareholding members elect the Board.  This is done at our Annual General Meeting, with one third of the Board standing for re-election each year.  

We had an excellent turnout at our 26th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 13 September 2017 and we'd like to say a big THANK YOU to the shareholders and guests who came along.

After the formal business of the AGM had been completed, Anne Wright from Workingrite spoke about the work of the project. Glen Oaks has worked in partnership with Workingrite since 2012 to provide training and support to local young people, helping them to find jobs and apprenticeships or enter into further education.  

This was followed by a question and answer session and the ever-popular prize draw.  Thanks again to everyone who attended ... we look forward to seeing you next year!

Our Board is responsible for setting the overall strategy, objectives and policy for the Association.  Many of the Board members are tenants or residents living in homes managed by the Association.  

The Board does not get involved in the day-to-day running of the Association - this is left to our staff team.

The overall business of the Association is considered at regular Board Meetings and Sub-Committee meetings.  The Sub-Committees are:

  • Housing, Technical and Health & Safety
